Terms of Use
Shadowrocket Docs is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. These terms apply when you visit this site, read its documentation, or follow its instructions. Please read them before use. If you do not agree, stop using this site's content.
1. Scope and purchases
This site provides guidance on verifying the genuine app, purchasing and installing it, importing configurations, understanding settings, and troubleshooting. The documentation explains how to use the client; it does not guarantee technical performance in any particular network environment and does not replace compatibility checks before use.
Shadowrocket is a paid, closed-source app distributed exclusively on Apple platforms, primarily for iPhone and iPad. The App Store is the only place to get it. Refer to the App Store listing for system requirements, compatibility, pricing, and purchase eligibility. Purchases, payments, and refunds are subject to the applicable App Store terms. Reading this site does not place an order for the app.
A one-time purchase of the app is not a service subscription. This site does not provide, sell, or recommend nodes or subscription services. Instructions involving connection configurations assume that you already have your own subscription or server details and the relevant permission to use them.
2. Lawful use and user responsibilities
When using this site and Shadowrocket, comply with the laws, regulations, network policies, and service terms that apply where you are and to your activities. Do not use them unlawfully, infringe anyone's privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights, or access, interfere with, or obtain data without authorization.
You are responsible for ensuring that any imported configuration, server details, and related data come from lawful sources and that you are authorized to use them. Before following the documentation, check the current interface, the purpose of the configuration, and your authorization to perform the steps. On work, school, or otherwise managed devices, follow the administrator's rules and do not bypass existing management requirements.
3. Availability and limits of responsibility
Network conditions, system settings, app interfaces, and external services may change. We strive to keep the documentation accurate and clear, but cannot guarantee that every instruction will always apply to every device or configuration, or that this site, the app, or any connection service will remain available. If something differs, first check the current wording in the app and the App Store listing.
Back up important information before modifying or deleting configurations. Remove account credentials and other sensitive information before sharing logs, screenshots, or configurations. Reinstalling the app and restoring configurations are separate matters; getting the app again from the App Store does not guarantee that personal configurations will be restored.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, this site is not liable for unavailability, data loss, or related indirect losses resulting from following the documentation, configuration errors, network interruptions, or changes to external services. This section does not exclude or limit liability where the law prohibits such exclusion or limitation, or affect consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
4. Intellectual property and use of content
The Shadowrocket trademark, app, and related intellectual property belong to developer Shadow Launch Technology Limited or the respective rights holders. Official icons, interface assets, and product names displayed on this site are used to identify the product and explain its operation. Visiting this site does not transfer or grant rights to any of these materials.
The original documentation, editorial arrangement, and page design on this site are protected by applicable law. You may make reasonable use of necessary excerpts for personal study, provided you credit the source and preserve the original meaning. Copying, adapting, or using content commercially beyond the scope of statutory fair use requires permission from the relevant rights holder. Do not alter the documentation and publish it under this site's name.
5. Changes to these terms and help with use
These terms may be revised to reflect changes in the site's content, operation, or legal requirements. Revisions will be published on this page, and the “Last updated” month at the top will be changed accordingly. Significant changes to rights or responsibilities will be noted in an appropriate place on the site. The effective date and application of changes are subject to applicable law; changes will not retroactively restrict rights already lawfully acquired.
For help checking operating requirements or resolving an issue, see Troubleshooting, or follow the Getting Started guide to check each step. For information on getting the genuine app, see App Store purchase and verification. Do not disclose private connection details in public while troubleshooting.
